MAAP Launches New Season Road Collection, Led by an Aero Thermal Jersey

MAAP Pro Aero Thermal Jersey from the New Season Road collection

Melbourne cycling apparel brand MAAP has unveiled its latest New Season Road collection, a comprehensive autumn-through-spring range built around the idea of embracing changeable weather rather than hiding from it. At its heart is the new Pro Aero Thermal Jersey, which, for the first time, drags MAAP's aerodynamic fabric engineering into genuinely cold-weather kit. It's joined by a new Team Thermal Vest, a fresh "Halo" graphic capsule and a raft of updated seasonal staples.

A Layering System for Unpredictable Conditions

Rather than a scattering of individual pieces, MAAP is pitching this as a versatile system. The collection blends aerodynamic efficiency, thermoregulation and adaptable layering, with new items sitting alongside updated favourites so riders can mix and match as the mercury swings through the transitional seasons. It's a familiar approach for the brand, but one sharpened here around the reality that autumn and spring rarely serve up the same conditions two rides running.

The Pro Aero Thermal Jersey: Aero Fabrics Go Cold-Weather

The headline act is the Pro Aero Thermal Jersey, aimed squarely at the speed-obsessed rider who wants uncompromising performance year-round. Where most thermal jerseys prioritise insulation at the expense of efficiency, MAAP has gone the other way with a dual-fabric construction designed to deliver warmth while actually aiding aerodynamics.

Two Italian Fabrics, One Race Fit

That balance comes from two brushed-back Italian fabrics. Across the sleeves is Corno Speed 200, whose aero-optimised channelled rib structure is designed to delay airflow separation, while the body uses Corno Spinner SC for smooth, form-hugging, targeted warmth. The result is a compressive race fit that MAAP describes as "speed for all seasons".

Wind-Cheating Details

Beyond the fabrics, the jersey gets precision-bonded hems, integrated bonded rear pockets and a YKK Vislon Snap Lock Zip, all in the name of keeping a clean, wind-cheating silhouette while sealing out the cold.

The Team Thermal Vest: A Year-Round Layer

Also new is the Team Thermal Vest, a layering piece MAAP reckons will earn a spot in the wardrobe well beyond the depths of winter. Balancing insulation, wind protection and breathability, it's built for the shifting conditions riders face across autumn, winter and spring. A THERMOROUBAIX 3.0 brushed-fleece front panel forms a breathable barrier against bitter winds and low temperatures, while high-stretch, brushed-back textiles on the sides and rear keep thermoregulation in check during hard efforts.

Updated Staples and the New 'Halo' Graphic

The rest of the collection leans on the pieces riders return to season after season, now in fresh colourways. That means new looks for the Pro Emerge Jersey, Team Bib Evo, Team Bib Evo Cargo, and both the Atmos and Team Flow ranges of jackets and vests, plus refreshed socks, mitts, gloves, caps and bottles. Rounding things off is "Halo", a new graphic capsule bringing a fresh take on MAAP's signature style to the Pro Air Jersey 3.0 in short and long sleeve, as well as a Thermal Long Sleeve Jersey.
